Will the MacBook get a design change this october?

It's more likely to be replace by the tablet. The MacBook change was to go aluminum, and the current MacBook is just leftover as the low entry model.
Why on earth would they replace an entry level laptop with a high end and completely different product?
I think it's a nice cheap alternative. It still competes favorably with many other laptops in the market.

The 13" aluminum MBP is hardly a high end product.
The white macbook was probably kept to provide a sub $1000 machine. It's unlikely they will change it around.
Nope. Apple has created quite a history of not updating their lower-end products, hence the Mac Mini. Why would the change the iconic design?
I was referring to the tablet that you talked about. I never said anything about the MBP.

Another vote for that. I got the last rev Black MacBook. I'm not letting it go anytime soon.
All the movies i've seen so far from 2007-08 if there's a mac laptop

My BlackBook is never being gotten rid of, she is by far the best laptop computer in existence.
all I can see them maybe doing is adding a color(s).. I would like a gray one with matte screen but that will never happen.
I think the current design is good except for the edge of where the two plastic pieces meet near the hinge.. that's the only part of the case where I've seen problems occuring
