will the magic mouse be updated anytime soon?

I'm thinking about getting the magic mouse, but I'm hesitant on getting it since it's been almost a year since it's debut and with the imminent refresh of the imac, is seems possible that the magic mouse might also be updated. Am i just thinking too far ahead and should just go ahead with this purchase? Thanks for any thoughts.

It took over 4 years for Apple to update the Mighty Mouse so very unlikely. The Magic Trackpad might come someday but it may not be included in iMac and it's just a rumor

It usually takes apple years before they update their mice. I think that you are safe to buy one.

Well, I believe that they still supply the wired Mighty Mouse with the Mac Pro, so I'm hoping we'll see a wired Magic Mouse (such ****** names )
