Will the new face be AW4 only?

Does anyone know if the new face will be exclusive to the AW4 or will it be available through the new watchOS.

With the 40mm only having slightly more screen space than the current 42, I’m thinking there’s probably enough real estate for it to work on at least the 42?

i would figure that the face with up to eight complications needs to use the larger screens in Series 4

Also you need to factor in that even if its possible, apple will place an artificial restriction so that its only available on the Series 4.

I am hoping so and am thinking the same as you. I have a 42mm AW Series 1, but if they can get the new face on a 40mm Series 4, then why not on a 42mm series 1,2 or 3?

As an aside, does anyone know what the actual useable screen dimensions (diagonal) on the Series 4 watches? My series 42mm has a diagonal screen size of 39mm.
