I remember being included in a beta a while back, will the new one have it?

Edit: or should I say does the new iOS have it

It's on the iPad 2 so I think the new one will have them, I don't see why it wouldn't.
Actually one gesture is in the tv ad, so yes it will ;)

I thought it never officially came out, is there a legit option in settings or somewhere in IOS 5.1 to enable it for iPad 2? If so then it for sure has to have it.

I had it enabled on my iPad 2 even before iOS 5.1. It's in Settings. Not jailbroken or anything. Anyone can use it.

Go to settings/general and scroll almost all the way to the bottom...turn on "multitasking gestures"

Do you mean the swipe gestures inside Safari to go forward/back pages (like you can do in OS X) ?

If i could enable it with my 1st gen iPad, i'd bet a good money that gestures were present in 3rd gen iPad.

If you want browser gestures, then Terra (free) has them. It's a decent alternative to Safari.
