Hello,

I'm a Mac newbie so I apologize if this is the most basic of questions. When the next generation of new Macbooks come out, will they use the same RAM that the current Macbooks use?

In other words, could the RAM chips be physically pulled out of a current Macbook and put in the new ones when they come out? Any ideas?

How could we possibly know.................

Current normal laptop ram is pc6400 - MacBooks use pc5300...

Who knows what Apple will use but I doubt it will be pc5300

yes, how could we know indeed . . . I guess what I'm looking for is predictions. Thanks for yours!
