Will the old shuffles (refurb/clear.) be gone tomorrow?

I want to get a shuffle to swim with, but I'm waiting on the waterproof case to come to make sure it fits before I make the plunge (hah, pun not intended). When the new iPods come out, do they tend to pull the old ones from clearance? Or will I not be SOL tomorrow?
