One of the reasons that I prefer to use my iPhone's Remote app to control my Apple TV over the standalone silver remote is the ability to use the iPhone's keyboard. Typing in long program titles or phrases with the standalone remote is quite tedious. How will the Apple Watch Remote app handle text input? I would hope that it allows for voice dictation since that is the main form of text input on the Watch overall, but I have not seen anything to confirm that.

This would also be a minor shortcut to help the existing Apple TV catch up with competitors like the Amazon Fire TV and new Roku hardware which both allow for voice dictation as an input method.

Agreed this would be a really nice feature. So incredibly useful on my Xbox one. If this feature isn't added, it will surely be added in Apple TV 2

Hey Apple TV go to Netflix!
