I am pleased with the quality and functionality of my Philips DAB clock/radio/iPod Dock, and it works perfectly (as far as playback goes) with my 3GS.

However, as you can probably guess, the Philips DCB310 will not charge my 3GS.

I came accross a nifty looking gadget today which says it will convert iPod docks to be able to charge 3G(S) iPhones.

I don't suppose anyone has a Philips DCB310 and a 3G or 3GS phone and can tell me if it definitely charges it (and fits the DCB310 dock area) before I go ahead and purchase it.

Many thanks,
Kevin

As long as your iPhone functions on it normally sans charging it'll work. All it does is converts the original 12v output(what used to be able to charge previous iPods), to the 5v that they only charge off of now.
