Will the Smart Folio designed for 2021 IPP 11-inch fit my 2020 IPP 11-inch

It seems the 2020 Smart Folio is running out of stock for my preferred color but there are plenty of 2021 Smart Folio?
Will it fit? Is there any subtle difference, like magnets?

Yes. The physical dimensions of the iPads are the same.

They’re identical. Apple just has to differentiate based on color and year. I have folios from both this year and last year and they work perfectly. As a note last years(and this years for that matter) folios also work with the 2018 iPad Pro as well.

Only subtle differences, like the speaker holes, and thickness. 2021 has 16 holes, while 2020 has 26 holes; 2021 is thicker 1mm than 2020. Others are the same.
