I am currently using a galaxy s4 which screen is awesome (but I am missing my iphone 5 bad) will the new iPhone for VZ have data and calling?

only if Verizon has deployed SVLTE or VoLTE. i havent heard anything about it, or if they are even working on it yet. i assume the natural progression will eventually convert everything to LTE and allow voice and data simultaneously.

edit: i found a link, i dont know how accurate it is/may be but it looks like mid 2014 until we see it happening. so maybe there is a good chance the 5S will be VoLTE capable, but wont work until the network has been deployed.

It looks like my samsung s4 cane handle data and a call.

It's unlikely.

Apple would need to add additional hardware to make this work. I'd absolutely love it if so but I really don't see Apple doing it.

Even on GSM networks an iPhone will drop off LTE but is capable of maintaining 3G/4G during a call. S4 (and even S3 I believe) has additional antenna for maintaining LTE data.
