Will the verizon 5s work on at&t and t-mobile LTE?

Most likely. I don't know of any Verizon phone out recently that isn't unlocked.

This would be great. Finally a universal iPhone in the US. I think that the carriers wouldn't like it since switching carriers would become less of a hassle (i.e., no need to sell the old iPhone and buy a new one).
