Since the 4S is a "world phone" does anyone know whether the Verizon (or Sprint) versions will have an unlocked gsm side? Will we be able to move the phone freely between Verizon, Sprint, and ATT? I'm very curious to see how Apple will handle this situation because to my knowledge, this will be the first time ever that a single identical model will be deployed on ATT, Verizon, and Sprint.

The only factory unlock 4/4s phones will be GSM only. There is no CDMA factory unlocked phones. Don't ask me how they call it a world phone.

Carrier locking is not up to Apple, it is up to the carriers. The only thing Apple gets out of a world phone is reduced production costs.
