Will the Watch be released outside the US in April?

We've known for a little while now that the Watch will be released in April, for what we presume to be the US. However, will the Watch be released outside the USA in countries such as the UK, Australia and China at the same time. I'd certainly be bitterly disappointed if other countries have to wait months after the US launch to get one.

What do you speculate?
 
The fact that US says "Early 2015" and UK/AUS just says "2015" would lead me to believe it won't be available at the same time.
 
Hopefully, but I think it will maybe be US/UK in the beginning, and then maybe Germany/France/Australia in May.

Depends on how many watches they can manufacture. But I have really no idea. iPods and iPads usually go on sale worldwide on the same date, where iPhones are launched over 3-4 months. I live in Denmark, and we usually get the stuff in the second rollout. So if Germany gets it before, I'll just drive there and buy one :p
 
Unfortunately what makes me think no is that on the UK page it says "Available 2015" where as on the U.S. page it says "available early 2015" I'm hoping not but I do think that the U.S. will get it first and then us in the UK later.

I know Apple Retail Employees might not know all the details, but when I was in and asking about how long the lines usually are for product launches, they said 'see you in April' to me.

Now that may be simply because of what Cook said, but it could have been because of what was revealed in training.
 
The uk stores are doing the training at the moment so hopefully it'll be like an iPhone release.

I'll be disappointed, but not annoyed if it's not out over here at the same time. I thought we'd moved beyond where markets like the UK, Australia ect.. don't get it in Wave 1.

At least we can hope it'll not be too long after the USA if it's not in Wave 1. The iPad was only a month.
 
It might not be THAT bad a think if the UK got it say 1 or 2 weeks later.

Then at least we'd have plenty of time to get plenty of user reviews, and I've been wearing it a week and here are all the pro's and cons of "This model I have" before we in the UK had to decide which if any to buy.

Maybe because April is already really stretching the definition of Early.
If the second wave is two weeks later (Like all the iOS product releases lately) it will be May and that will be most definitely not "Early" 2015.

It could be an Early April release for USA, then late April for the rest of the world?

Really?

I think you will find in many areas around the world this is not allowed in various areas to stop people taking advantage of others.

Buying up tickets to events, so there are no spaces left for normal people, then offering these tickets at a massive mark-up at the public then have no choice as you have bought them all.

It's unethical because you're exploiting people's 'absolute desperation' for a new Apple product.

Anyhow, I suspect there'll be a max 2 products per person in order to prevent this.
 
I can speak for Turkey , that we will have the watch very late .

In April US people start using , we can start using it at earliest 2 - 2.5 Months later.

And I can say for price tag will be starting at least 600 - 650 Dollars
 
I wouldn't count on it. Even on the Canadian website it just says 2015, and we are after all the closest sizeable market to the U.S.

Funny how people always mention the UK and Australia, when we are just north of the border. Canada does exist people, and it's the second largest country in the world (by land area), with Toronto being the 4th most populated city in North America. :rolleyes: :cool:

Only really comparable if I buy all the apple watches and leave none for anyone else tho surely?

If the watch is worth a premium to someone in the UK before it is launched here, and they can find someone selling it for a price they are happy and able to pay, I don't see what ethics have to do with it.

I have no intention of doing this, but if I did, who are you to say that I shouldn't be able to do this (pay a premium for a U.S. apply watch and have it shipped to the UK)?

Because too many humans act like asses with regards this type of thing.
A shop has a special offer on for all customers, and some ass comes along and with only selfish thoughts about themselves they buy up all the discounted items, then put them onto ebay and try to make a profit.

Like that can happen when the staff in a store buy the special discount goods and when the customers come they are all gone.

If there were plenty of watches for sale, I don't think many would have an issue with you buying one watch extra, the problem is some cannot control themselves and just get greedy, thinking of their own profit and spoiling things for others.
