something i was wondering about since i am deff interested in selling my black for a white when they come out since i like to be different.

They aren't going to redesign a phone and give it the same model # (iPhone 4).

I'm not going to be tricked into an antenna argument. :D

Really? Are will still asking this question about a product that has not been and will not be redesigned until the next reiteration? It is what it is until June.

Yes, it will.

Did you believe me? Nope, you didn't. B/c you already knew the answer to your silly question.

They did not redesign the antenna for Verizon. They modified it to function on a CDMA network, but it is still the exact same technical design.

Be "different" and not post these silly questions like its been the trend the past few days in here. Youll be cool then brah

p.s. Ipad 2 and white iphone get announced the same day ;)

No they did not! They gave it a CDMA antenna, which is the only reason the antenna is different. And if you'd read threads prior to posting, you'd see that the Verizon version still has the signal issue. It's the bottom left antenna that has the issue and it's the same on Verizon.

all of you who "think you know everything" and immediately jump on someone who asks a simple question should remember...

YOU DON'T KNOW ANYMORE THAN ANYONE ELSE

"def not"
"of course not"
"no they havn't" etc

All speculation. When you answer you sound like you are belittling the person asking the question.

I don't know anymore than you do or he does, but just take a look at this

Sure we do.

People who educate themselves and pay attention to history will obviously know more than people who don't know any of that stuff.

How do you think "learning more" doesn't mean you "know more?" One leads to the other.

Whoa, calm down there buddy, you're making sense. Anyway, why does it need a redesigned antenna, to placate the 0.5% of people who have a problem with it and to the other 5% of people who are trying to smother their phones when holding them?

This I can assure you of: If and when the white iPhone does come out, the CDMA Verizon phone will have the same antenna as the black CDMA Verizon phone, and the GSM phone will have the same antenna as the AT&T black phone.

This is, of course, if the white phone is released during the life of the iPhone 4.

The good news is rumor has it as being very close to the release date. Equipped with Apples best antenna and pearly white color, it's gorgeous. The guaranteed ship date for both AT&T is Verizon to be as soon as June 2014. For sure. Absolutely positively maybe :)
