Do you think there will ever be a mod, so that you can plug in a camera and the pictures would show up right in the iPod and you can save them from there? I think this would be very useful since iPod touches don't have cameras.

Anything is possible, but I'm going to err on the side of no, it probably won't happen. To accomplish this, you'd need to have a camera interface directly with the iPod through the dock and it really seems like more trouble than it's worth, especially when iPhones can take pictures natively. Besides, you can always just take pictures with a digital camera and put them on through your computer later. I know, it's not the same, but I think us Touch owners will have to live with it. 
Im goin with the rest of the crowd here and saying that there won't be a camera attachment, nor a built in camera in the future.
Most cameras these days have displays large enough to rival the iPod Touch's, so other than emailing them to friends (which you can only do with Jailbroken iPods these days), I don't see much advantage to implementing the attachment.
As for the built in camera, it highly doubt it will come. As another said, if they perk up the Touch to much, the iPhone sales will drop.

Its a FLAMING iPod for crying out loud! It's AMAZING? YES! But its just an iPod! NOT A PHONE! I think the camera connector should have iPod touch support as well as the Fm/remote!
And everyone with a touch now would bitch and moan that they didn't get a camera with their touch.
Well, if you're asking about the USB accessory that connects the touch to a full camera to upload the pictures, I think that's a realistic desire. It just needs drivers, which might take a while to come (like the FM radio).
However, it seems that some people think that you're asking for the iPod to have a camera built into it, or to have a dock-adaptor thing with a camera on it to take pictures from the touch. That won't happen.

In order for the ipod touch to have a camera:
It would need a redesigned back, they cant just add a tiny camera in that damn chrome like back!
And
It would have to bee similar to the iphone, or at least made out of plastic.

He's trying to ask if there will be a camera attachment to transfer pictures from a camera to the ipod. Like the camera connector now, but that one doesnt work with the touch.

On topic, I don't know why the touch or the phone can't support the camera connector that all the old iPods support. Quite a few times I would have liked to been able to email pictures without a computer. Then again, I shoot in RAW, but there's ways around that...

Well, if it gets a camera, then people will want bluetooth, then tactile buttons, then a mic, then speakers, etc, until it really is an iPhone without a cellular connection.
