Will there be a software based Jailbreak for iPhone 4?

I bought my iPhone 4 without contract at the Apple store. Will there be a software based jailbreak? I don't have an activated iPhone 4 for the browser jailbreak.

Yes - eventually. Probably not before iOS 4.1 is released.

The next jailbreak will likely be software-based after Apple plugs the browser exploit used for JailbreakMe 2.0.

I didn't realize that it came with an unactivated SIM. So after connecting it to my netbook, I was able to get to Wi-Fi and install jailbreak along with Ultrasn0w. Now I need to cut my SIM from my 3G. If it doesn't work the first time around, I would do a hard reset.
