will there be another price drop before Xmas?

Hi, I have an 12" iBook 600MHz and want to buy a 15" Powerbook. Apple has dropped the price of powerbook up to $300. The question is, will they drop the price again? Last year right after I bought my iBook, the price of iBook dropped a lot. I don't want to feel like a fool again... Is there any pattern we can follow on how Apple control the price?
