Seems like all the excitement is for the OLED version as it should be. Does anyone think that those us looking to the LCD version will have any trouble picking one up on release day or pre ordering?

I forsee the LCD model likely to have more available stock over the OLED model. But I do think the initial first week of pre-orders for the iPhone will be constrained for both models. But ultimately, I think the LCD model will have more fluent stock regularly over the OLED model for quite some time. And the LCD model is more affordable.

Disagree. You can't guarantee everyone will jump to the OLED model, especially given the affordability factor with the LCD model. There will be many iPhone users who will not upgrade to the OLED model because they don't want all the features the OLED model has to offer.

I think that the higher price and unfamiliar aspects of the OLED model (ie. loss of home button and Touch ID) as well as some people simply not liking the new design (ie. the "ears") will result in a healthy demand for the non-OLED models.

Impossible to say and we also don't yet know how Apple will handle pre-orders. But I think if you pre-order an LCD model when pre-ordering starts then you'll be good to get launch day delivery. If you wait until Friday morning then, going off history from past couple years, your odds go down to Browns getting playoff spot level.
