Hey! I'd like to buy a Macbook Pro Retina 15. I checked last year's release date of Late 2013. It seems October 22. I wonder if you know anything about "Late 2014"? Should I go with Mid 2014?

No, the appropriate Broadwell chips haven't even been announced yet, never mind released.

There won't be one.

The next iteration will only be mid-2015 at the earliest, when the Broadwell-H chips come out.

Yup I'm wanting to upgrade mine (not that there's anything at all wrong with it just a silicon junkie), you won't see anything till next year I'm afraid. Chips have been experiencing yield issues for some time. Although I believe the first low voltage Broadwell chips are about to start coming out.

Thanks for replies, i guess new series will be good for airs
