Will there ever be anything comparable to the 2011 MBP 17" without Touch Bar?

I'm talking big screen, quad core i7, discrete GPU, lots of ports, upgradeable RAM and storage. The only comparable MBPs now have that Touch Bar, which is a big problem for me.

There will be comparable machines as you described, for sure. They just won't be from Apple, most likely... that sort of thing is no longer their focus. Seriously though, unless you really need macOS, may be worth a look at other manufacturers.

And this I coming from an Apple-faithful here...
