Will these speakers work on 27" iMac?

Hi

All being well should take delivery of my iMac tomorrow or Saturday at latest,have Logitech Z523 2.1 speakers,while knowing very little about Macs,will these speakers work ok,also over the coming weeks wish to upgrade to 16gb ram,how do I know if im buying the right ram?

They use standard 3.5mm audio cable so they will work. As for the RAM, you need DDR3 1333MHz SO-DIMMs.
