OK this may be an odd question to ask, but here it isn't

- In may 2007(I think) Apple told o2 + CPW to lower the iPhone price to £168 to clear out the stock for the new iPhone.

Do you think Apple will tell them again to do it with the 3g in may?

(not sure if this make's sense..)

if they are planning on comming out with a new iphone then they probably will apple seems to lower the prices of previous models when a newer version comes out. why would someone pay 199$ (8 gig) for a 3G 1st gen when they could pay 199$ (8 gig) for a 3G 2nd gen, instead people will pay 99$ for a 8 gig 3G 1st gen and 199$ for the 8 gig 3G 2nd gen.

if that makes sense to you
