Will this cable work with my MBP with a HDTV?

I have the late 2009 Macbook Pro with Mini Displayport and want to hook up to my Samsung 1080p HDTV. The question is will this Mini Displayport HDMI adapter(link below) will work perfect with the two devices?

when in doubt, buy from apple. I have not used this product before, but let me know how it goes, im looking for a cheeper mDP-HDMI connector too

Yes, assuming you use an HDMI cable as well. Of course the Mini DisplayPort does not output sound so you'll still need another cable for sound...
