Ok . . .up until now. . If I was browsing the web on Safari, and then finished with it and wanted to go on the Facebook app I would hit the home button and open facebook.

Will it waste my battery if I STILL do that?

Or does it use EXACTLY the same amount of battery only if I double click the home button, and then manually close Safari in the multitask bar before opening Facebook.

Thanks a lot. :)

Multi taskings doesn't truly run both, it use a suspend state so it shouldn't waste any battery compared to what you are doing now.

I have a question about this. Twice I have multi-tasked a game (FIFA 10) before I went to bed with 50% battery and woke up with a completely dead phone. I know people have said that while in the background, the app isn't running, it's "frozen". This has not been my experience. When I do not open any games on the phone prior to leaving it on for the night, I have about 40% left. Does anybody else have this problem?
