Will this game work?

I have a late 2008 Aluminum Macbook, and I noticed KOTOR on the Mac App Store for $9.99! (10 bucks off!)

It has a 2.0 GhZ Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and Nvidia 9400M graphics, and 256 Vram.

It says that 2.4 ghz is recommended, on Intel integrated chipsets are not supported.

Will this Game run smoothly on it? Many reviews say that it doesnt work well on their system.

KotoR is a very old game, it ran decently well on my 1.5 GHz Pentium M.

That being said, the Mac Port is TERRIBLE. Dantooine is really laggy no matter what system you're running. It was first ported to PPC, and now it's been updated to a universal binary. I get the same fps out of my 3,1 MacBook as my 5,4 PowerBook G4. Stay away, simply because of the poorness of the port. It's a great game, though, one of my favorites... so install Windows on BootCamp and run it that way, you'll be much more satisfied with the results.
