This summer I'm gonna have to move the computer room of my dad's school to a new server, but the software on the old machine is MacAdministrator which creates loads of invisible files so just copying things across to a new machine is a no-no.
The current server is the 604 server in a desktop enclosure, and ideally I'd like to take the old hard drive out of the old server and plonk it in a new G4.
WIll this work? Is the old drive SCSI and will I therefore have to add a card to a G4? Is there any sort of problem caused by the new world architecture and the fact that these days ROM is in software?
Any help much appreciated
