My early 2008 17 inch macbook pro logicboard crapped out on me. I am in the position to buy a 17 inch logic board from a friend, but my computer had a 2.6ghz processor and the new logic board has a 2.5ghz logic board. Will this work? Would a logic board from a early 2008 15 inch 2.4gz work?

It would be best to take this to a Apple service provider since there might be minor engineering differences/PCB layout.
