Looking at the specs, I don't see why not. The ad specifically mentions compatibility with Mac.

The ad also mentions 16-bit, 44.1KHz quality sound. That's CD quality, which is good enough for GarageBand. Since it doesn't mention higher bitrates, this may be a USB 1.1 device... which your MBP can use and is not necessarily bad; I used an old Roland/Edirol UA-1A interface with my iMac, and it worked fine until I could afford something that could handle 24-bit.
