I'd like to put 8GB ram instead of the current 4GB into my 2010 MBP (2.66 Ghz i7). Will
one of those one work ?

If you want to know exactly what will work in your Mac, use Crucials scanner on line...Just Google it, it will tell you what's available, and the prices are good too. I've used them for all my RAM upgrades and have never had a problem.

Does the frequency matter ? I'd like to get this one

8GB Corsair ValueSelect RAM DDR3-1333 CL9 (9-9-9-24) SO-DIMM

but it is a 1333 MHz whereas the original is 1066Mhz. I do not have my mac with me now to use the crucial scanner.
