Don't think so, you need 1066 MHz.

as mentioned above, you need PC3-8500 DDR3 RAM (@1066MHz)

Yes, it will work. Your MBP will just use it at 1066 MHz.

I have that one in my 2011 macbook pro 2.2 but if its not the 2011 i heard that the corsair ram makes the older macbooks freeze so i guess its only compatible with the new ones

I just upgraded the RAM in my late 2008 MBP to 8GB, using this Crucial RAM:

I thought late 2008 Macbook Pros could only max out at 4gb?

EDIT: Nevermind found a thread saying they can AND Lion recognizes all 8 gigs instead Leopard recognizing 7.75gb!
