OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

I would be curious as to if this will work in a Mac Pro and if anyone has had any experience with this memory. Thanks!

ok I couldnt figure out the physical dimensons but thanks for explaining it for me!

You need FB-DIMMS of the correct spec for it to work at all. If you don't get FB-DIMMS with big enough heatsinks it may force the machine to slow down as Apple specify higher efficiency heatsinks than most manufacturers. Less efficient heatsinks may cause the RAM to overheat.

So basically you need Mac Pro specific RAM. Crucial sell it in the UK (cheaper than Apple)
