why bother? You can get it for $56 shipped via dealram, and it is listed for that machine. ;)

spork183: If the OP is looking at NCIX.com, it means they are in Canada, so shipping, customs brokerage and exchange nullify most US mail order bargains.

sikkinix: Kingston ValueRAM has had a poor history of Mac compatibility. One reason is that Kingston does not guarantee the build of the components -- they can change the chip organization or the PC Board at any time.

One of the comments on this RAM is that it is high density RAM -- which would mean ixnay on the Macinay compatibility. Your machine requires a 16-chip module.

You won't find Mac compatible PC133 at quite this low a price but there are Canadian sources of guaranteed Mac compatible RAM available.

Thanks

+ 1 gold star :D

thanks to both you and CanadaRam for the info. It sucks that ram is so damn much for these things :( I have 384mb in it right now but I think a bum to 768 would be a big improvement. I just use it for the web, email and MS Word since i sold my Macbook *sigh*

A slow mac is better than a fast Windows machine anyday :)
