Yes, it should work in the sled on any Mac Pro. Since you have a Penryn box, the ODD bay isn't much of an option for you, unless threading those SATA cables is worth saving $15 on the drive adapter. (Probably not). So go for it.

Yep.

newegg has it too. Though the price is a little higher, it includes free shipping, so it may be a little less expensive compared to Amazon in the end. Worth checking out.

You might want to try directron.com. They do ship internationally, but send them an email, and see what they say (get a total price, and find out how to get it to them).

The price is cheaper than Amazon or newegg, but the shipping and taxes (GST + tech tax) will eat that of course, and likely with some interest.

I found this on their site:
