Another choice would be the Twelve Sout Hoover bar. It is not magnetic, it has hold clamps to secure the iPad. It comes with a table stand as well as a table clamp. I have used this with My iPad Pro 12,9 and 13 inch iPads. It’s a little tough to get the iPad into the clamp Im an old guy with arthritis) but it is very secure.

The reason that most magnetic stands will not work is because of the position of the magnetics on the base plate, it’s specific to certain models of I pad.
