Will this Toshiba 1TB HDD swap into 2011 15" MBP?

Trying to find out if this hard drive will be okay to swap into my new 15" MBP?

Unless I am missing something, yes. The pros will accept a 12.5mm drive.

Same 1TB HDD but cant install OSX

I just installed this hard drive properly. And it automatically tells me i need to RESTART MY COMPUTER.....I cant even make it to the menu in order to partition it. I have bought another to be sure it wasnt faulty and have the same issue. My 250GB works fine (which i put back in to keep using the Mac)....Its a 2010 Macbook Pro 13" 2.4 4GB RAM

Are you trying to boot the install DVD? Or what?

Yes that drive will work. However, I would opt for the 750GB 7200rpm model from western digital.
