Will this version of 8.1 work when installing via bootcamp?

I already have a partition for windows 7. I was gonna delete that partition then do a clean install with 8.1

I have a late 2013 macbook pro w/2.6 ghz core i7, 1tb ssd, 2gb video memory, and 16gb ram

I do have the usb superdrive in case some of you suggest burning the iso onto a dvd.

Also have a large enough jump drive

It'll work fine. Just use Boot Camp Assistant to put the installer on your thumb drive.
