Will This Video Card Work on a G5?

I have a PowerMac G5 will this video card work in it?
Radeon HD 3850 512mb

No PPC-OF-Bios for this card, so no way to enter OF or MacOS with it.

Other OSes (Linux) might be able to work with it even if wasn't initialized by OF.

What the above poster is trying to say is that there isn't a Mac firmware available to flash it with.

If Linux is something you are willing to try, there is a guide on how to get SOME newer Radeon graphics cards to work in linux only, but only a few have been tested and I have never tried it myself.
