I need to get vista for my mbp, It is 2.2 ghz, 2 gb ram, 128mb video card. Will this work for it or is thus just an upgrade cause I noticed its much cheaper then the retail ones... why is that? Thanks.

Well, this OEM version or the full retail version should work fine. It lacks some networking features of the corporate version.. for home users it's perfect!!

Thought you can download the Windows 7 beta from Microsoft's site and use it free till August when it'll expire. Just burn the ISO to a DVD... boot from disk after setting up Boot-Camp. And bobs your uncle!!

Because OEM means it's attached to your motherboard; if you change computers, you can't just uninstall and move the installation; you are suppose to buy another copy. The retail version means you can uninstall and move to another computer.
