Will this work and not change my bootloader/baseband?

Hi,

If i follow these instructions (http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=14562) to jailbreak my iphone 4 will it be reversible? This wont affect or change my bootloader or baseband or anything like that will it?

Also this is untethered isnt it (am i right in thinking i can reboot my phone fine without connecting to a pc all the time?)

If i dont like it i can just restore in itunes and put an original unjailbraked restore on it cant i?

What is your iPhone 4's baseband now? The only way the baseband changes is if you upgrade using an official firmware.

Using the jailbreak software doesn't change the baseband in anyway.

I just want to jailbreak my iPhone 4 without apple knowing about it if I need to take it in for a warranty repair. I want to be able to restore to a non jailbreaked os if I need to. I only asked about the baseband etc to see if it changes it by jailbreaking as apple will know then won't they.

You'll be fine. If you need to take your iPhone in for repair, just restore it. Apple has no way of knowing your device is jailbroken unless you tell them or they see it.
 
4.10.01 is the latest baseband anyway doesnt matter if you update to official firmware or not
 
Hi,

Why cant i find this ipsw file? im following the instructions to download the 4.3.3 ipsw and it downloads as a zip file and it doesnt contain the ipsw file????

Ive checked int he firmware folder also and its not there

Click save as but edit the name and change it from .zip to .ipsw
Save as file: all types
