I want to play some better quality games on my 2012 13" mbp, but not enough to buy more ram. I have 4gb 1600mHz installed right now, and wanted to know if I could switch out the 8gb of 1067mHz ram that is in my older macbook and put it in the new one. Would that work? Could I test it without any risk? Thanks :)

Memory for MBP

It probably would work if it fits, however as with the poster above I'd recommend simply buying new RAM at 1600mhz as it is fairly cheap these days, that way it can run optimally and you won't see any slowdowns.
