Will this work in my MBP (memory)?

It should be compatible, but I would rather get RAM that is Mac-tested from OWC or Crucial.. the ones from Newegg are for generic notebooks, and may not be 100% with Macs.
If you like Crucial get the MBP-specific sticks from their website.
