Carrier Will this work with Verizon/ATT XS?

So I want the Verizon XS, but I have an ATT account.

If I use my girlfriends Verizon account to enroll in the IUP, then when the phone comes just take out the sim card, can I put in my ATT sim card and use the phone ok?

The Verizon and AT&T models are the same this year. They have the same Intel modem and are both GSM and CDMA.
