if i have a mac book pro and a macbook. can i use my macbooks lepord install disks on a macbook pro running tiger??

I don't think you can willy nilly use other system's install disks. If it is a standard leopard disk and not a specific macbook pro disk, then it will probably work. You have nothing to really lose by just trying

You can try, but in my experience, if you attempt to use another system's install disks, it will stop you as soon as the GUI boots and tell you you can't use that disk.
