Will this work?

Hi guys, I am just wondering. I am in the market for a USB Superdrive and was wondering if the optical drive below would work with any computer. MacBook Air, HP DM3, etc.

It says it requires certain machines... not sure if that's true.

It actually just says it's compatible with those certain machine, not requires them. Also in the Product Description section it states:

Compatible with all Acer Aspire One , Dell Inspiron Mini 9 , Dell Inspiron Mini 12 , MSI Wind U100 U90 , Lenovo Ideapad S10 , ASUS EEE PC , ASUS EEE BOX PC , HP Mini 1000 , HP 2133 mini-note and all other netbooks, laptops and PCs.
