Will ths work? (A way for jb spirit 3gs to be upgraded to jb ios4)

I have an iphone 3gs (OLD bootrom) running 3.1.3 spirit jb with only 3.1.3 SHSH blobs on file. Can I get jailbroken ios4 by doing this:

1. Restore to 3.1.3 non jb using SHSH blobs.
2. Jailbreak using sn0wbreeze
3. Use pwnagetol to upgade to jaibroken iOS 4

Will this work?

Sn0wbreeze cannot pwn a 3GS on 3.1.3. There is currently no tool that can do that.

I'm in the same situation as you, and unfortunately thelatinist seems to have hit on the problem...so no dice for us yet.

Sorry. Missed that. Still, even the old bootrom cannot be pwned at 3.1.3.
