Connect your DSL or cable modem to Time Capsule and quickly create a new wireless network
- Apple.com

Whats the point of that? Unless you have a weak connection, is there any other benefits of having TC be a part of my wireless network?

Is this a trick question?

Seriously, read it again.

Apple is advocating connecting Time Capsule to your DSL or Cable modem and creating a wireless network.

Am I missing something here?

.... What if you already have a wireless network, Does it add any benefits?

If you already have a wireless network there would be these immedaite benefits:

You could extend your network

You would be able to back up the computers on your network

You could bridge a wired network in another room to your wireless network.

Those are just a few.
