Will tons of Apps/Updates suddenly appear come 3.0?

I figure a lot of devs are awaiting to release updates and possibly even brand new apps until 3.0 releases, so does everyone expect like dozens and dozens of updates and great new apps suddenly coming tomorrow?

EDIT. Just realized the exact same thread is in the iPhone discussion forum. :( This can be locked now.
