Will topcase v3 fit on late 2006 macbook?

Hey guys,

I need to replace topcase on late 2006 macbook (MA700ZH/A A1181 late-2006 C2D 2.0ghz). What I see the most is version 3 topcase on ebay etc. I don't mind to have a bit more modern part on my macbook

Will this v3 topcase fit/work at all? Can somebody confirm?

I heard that media control buttons will work only with 10.6 which is fine.

V3 topcase will work fine - from memory, 10.5 onwards will support the media keys but 10.4 may support them too....

Go for it - it seems from your post you are using 10.6...

Just if anybody wonder why would I change top case: I had a sip/mouthfull of tea when my body decided to sneeze. Heck, not sure who to blame you know One of a lifetime fail.

Then arrow buttons stopped responding at all. The rest is just fine.
