Will upgrading Powermac Graphics card void applecare

Hi guys,

I've just placed an order for an ATI X800XT Graphics card for my Dual 2.5
Its still within its 12 month warranty, so I'd like to buy applecare at some point, but will upgrading the graphics card void applecare, as it's not the card that shipped with the system?

Any advice on what exactly I can do to my system under applecare?

No, that is the reason why you bought the PowerMac, so that you can change and replace a lot of the components. Now, if you were to replace the card and while doing that break something on the computer, that is not covered by Applecare.
