Will watchOS2 be released globally on the 16th? Or on states time?

I'm in New Zealand and I'm wondering if I will be able to get watchOS2 on the 16th here, or will I have to wait until it's the 16th stateside? What time are OS updates normally available?

It will follow a single time zone. In the UK for example it usually goes live at 6PM.
